Perovion Technologies, TNO and Toyo Seikan Group Holdings are taking their collaboration into its next phase. A letter of intent signed at the Dutch embassy in Tokyo sets out a shared route towards industrial production of flexible perovskite solar cells.

Combining technology and manufacturing expertise

The partners will deepen their work on materials, production processes and module technology. Perovion contributes its roll-to-roll approach, Toyo Seikan brings expertise in functional materials and module integration, and TNO continues as the research and development partner.

The collaboration addresses the performance, durability and manufacturing challenges that must be resolved before lightweight, flexible solar technology can reach wider commercial use.
