TNO, Perovion Technologies and Lift PV have formalised their collaboration on flexible perovskite solar technology through a Joint Development Agreement. Supported by SolarNL and the Dutch National Growth Fund, the work connects research, cell manufacturing and module development.

From solar cells to complete modules

Perovion focuses on producing the active solar-cell layers on flexible foil using scalable roll-to-roll processes. TNO contributes research and pilot production capabilities, while Lift PV develops complete modules, including encapsulation and certification.

Alongside Kalpana Technologies, SparkNano and Taylor, the partners are working towards a Dutch production chain. Their ambition is to bring lightweight solar solutions to market and establish commercial production in the Netherlands towards 2030.
