Perovion Technologies, TNO and Toyo Seikan Group Holdings have agreed to establish a strategic partnership for flexible perovskite solar panels. The agreement brings together expertise in solar-cell production, protective materials and applied research.

Complementary roles

Perovion will focus on manufacturing and supplying perovskite solar cells. Toyo Seikan will contribute module integration using its MiraNeo® functional materials and support commercial deployment. TNO will provide research and development support to both partners.

The partnership includes plans to expand demonstration activities using Perovion cells. Experience gained in Japan is intended to support future deployment in Europe and other markets, while helping the partners work towards scalable production and a stable supply chain.
